Allah سبحانه و تعالى tells us: “And feed with food the needy, the orphan, and the prisoner, for love of Him (saying), ‘We feed you for the sake of Allah alone; we seek from you neither reward nor thanks.’” (Al-Insan, 76:8-9)

The guilt of our abundance is a weight heavy to bear, knowing our brothers and sisters face such dire need.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “None of you will believe until you love for your brother what you love for yourself.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
