With heavy hearts, we remember our young brother Muhammad Ismail Alum رحمه الله, a member of the Green Lane Masjid community whose life was tragically cut short at just 16 years old.
Muhammad was a young brother who was connected to the masjid and committed to his faith. His loss has left his family, friends, teachers and our wider community deeply saddened.
While we cannot bring him back, we can help ensure that his legacy continues.

Green Lane Masjid is establishing a Sadaqah Jariyah legacy campaign in Muhammad’s name in Sylhet, Bangladesh
Your contribution will help us:
🕌 Build a Solar Powered Wudu Facility and provide drinking water to two villages in Sylhet, Bangladesh.
Creating a dedicated wudu facility, allowing worshippers to make wudu and prepare for salah for years to come.
Also, the local community will benefit from clean drinking water too.
These are not simply donations.
They are an opportunity to leave behind benefit that continues after a person has returned to Allah.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.”
